GoBraap offers a service consisting of a web service for sport federations (“Federation Manager”), sport clubs and other organizers of sport activities (“Club Manager”) and an app for users/participants (“Sports App”) developed to facilitate, streamline, and secure the administration and planning of training sessions, competitions, and other events and activities, license and membership management and payments.

The Federation Manager includes for example: 

• Club and license management  

• Injury reporting   

• Track and vehicle inspections 

• Electronic payments for club memberships, user licenses, activities, and other services and products

The Club Manager includes, for example: 

• Easy handling of information about clubs, activities, opening hours, prices etc 

• Management of training sessions and other activities 

• Attendance reporting  

• Injury reporting  

• Track and vehicle inspection 

• Administration of public financial aid systems  

• Electronic payments for memberships, activities, other services and products

The Sports App includes, for example: 

• Possibility to plan and administer training sessions, competitions and other activities and events 

• Digital reservations, payment and check-ins 

• Injury reporting 

• Vehicle inspection 

• Electronic payments for memberships, activities, events and other services and products

The Federation Manager, the Club Manager and the Sports App are hereinafter referred to as the Service.

Data Controller 

GoBraap can be the data controller for information that users provide in the SportsApp. In these cases, GoBraap handles the data in accordance with this privacy policy.

Data Processor 

However, for the most part GoBraap acts as a data processor on behalf of clubs and federations using the Club Manager or the Federation Manager. This means that GoBraap receives and processes personal information for which clubs and federations are responsible. Data processor agreements are always concluded with clubs and federations as part of GoBraap’s general terms and conditions. In processing such personal data GoBraap still adheres to this privacy policy. 

The information processed is determined by the clubs/federations, who are responsible for the processing adhering to all applicable legal requirements. The information processed may have any of the following purposes:  

• Membership administration 

• License administration 

• Activities administration 

• Injury reporting 

• Internal or external communication 

• Financial subsidies administration 

• Promotion of the clubs/organizers and the sport 

• Anti-doping efforts 

• Statistics and audits

Personal Information 

The personal information processed in the Service includes: 

• Contact information (name, phone number, and email address) 

• Information about required licenses (if applicable), including social security number and license number) 

• User information that the clubs and/or federations request in relation to memberships, licenses and activities plus other information that the user chooses to provide when creating an account. Such information can include gender, citizenship, memberships, results, user names and pictures.  

• Cookie data 

• Information about the user's browser, device, and IP address 

The personal information is processed to ensure the proper functioning of the Service and for GoBraap to fulfill its part of the agreement with the user, the clubs and the federations.

In addition to the above, GoBraap also processes the following information: 

• Information about the user's activity 

• Information about the user's bookings 

• App usage 

• Past purchases

The purpose of this processing is to provide a good user experience, service, and support, as well as to offer interesting deals and advertisements. GoBraap also uses the data to manage the customer relationship with the user and to gather information for the development of the Service. GoBraap has a legitimate interest in processing this data to ensure that the Service is relevant and evolves according to the users' needs and preferences. It is also part of the marketing strategy and building positive and relevant relationships with the users.

The Service consists of a Sports App for users, and a Club and Federation Manager system for clubs and federations. In order to be able to provide the Service, GoBraap shares information in the Sports App with clubs and federations connected to the Service. Similarly, connected clubs and federations also share information from the Club and Federation Managers with GoBraap for functionality of system of the Service.  

During payment, the provider of the chosen payment solution may also handle other necessary personal information for the payment. However, GoBraap does not store this information in the Service. The same applies when using services from other third-party providers, such as through links to other platforms. Please review each provider's terms regarding personal information. 

Part of the Service involves facilitating accurate reporting of the number of participants in trainings and competitions for clubs and federations, including seeking public financial aid for youth sports. In this context, GoBraap acts as a data processor and processes personal information to provide this service to the clubs and associations. This includes contact information, social security numbers, and information about participation in various activities in accordance with the requirements of relevant authorities.

Profiling 

As part of developing the Service and ensuring it meets user expectations, GoBraap analyzes how users utilize the Service and its various features, known as profiling. 

Email Communications 

GoBraap may send newsletters, messages and notifications to its users with information about updates or changes in the Service, and offers from GoBraap and its partners. To unsubscribe, follow the link provided at the end of the message or in the app settings.

 

Security 

GoBraap stores personal information on secure servers and takes reasonable security measures to protect the data from tampering and unauthorized access. However, users are responsible for the transfer of data to GoBraap and for their own security regarding password management and similar aspects.

Disclosure of Personal Information 

Sometimes, GoBraap needs to use services from third parties in order for the Service to function. If personal information is disclosed to a third party, it is done through data processor agreements and only to the extent necessary and in accordance with this privacy policy. GoBraap never sells personal information to any external parties.  

Please note that clubs and federations using GoBraap’s services can access the information provided by users in the Service in order to on their part supply the intended services to the users.

   

Transfer to Third Countries 

GoBraap's data is stored on servers located within the EU/EEA or other countries approved by the EU Commission. In the event that data is transferred to a service provider in a third country, GoBraap complies with relevant regulations regarding the transfer, ensuring an adequate level of protection and security.

Data Retention 

GoBraap only retains personal information for as long as necessary for the purposes stated in this privacy policy. Personal information is always deleted no later than 12 months after termination of the Service or cancellation of a user account. Users who believe that the processing is incorrect or wish to correct or delete their information can contact support@gobraap.com.

Changes 

GoBraap may need to make changes to this privacy policy for various reasons. Changes take effect 30 days after they have been published. However, changes necessary by law take immediate effect.
